Hortense Gordon Wanted for Purchase or Consignment

(1886 - 1961)

Hortense Gordon was born in Hamilton, Ontario in 1887. Before joining the Painters Eleven at age 67 Hortense taught art at a Hamilton high school, studied and exhibited regularly. Despite having limited formal training she was known professionally as both an Abstract Expressionist painter and a technical teacher.
