November 15 - 29 : Allen Sapp, The Early Years

Mayberry Fine Art along with Dr June Mills-Benson is proud to present an Allen Sapp exhibition of important works from the 60s and 70s. The paintings in this exhibition look back on his beginnings - the work which rapidly brought him to national and international attention.

Works from the collection of Dr Mills-Benson made this exhibition possible and are a representation of the birth of Sapp's artistic identity. The paintings from this period were a strong foundation for his subsequent body of work, which overall has made a significant contribution to Canadian art.

Exhibition Opens Saturday November 15
Dr. Mills-Benson will speak about her association with Allen Sapp in the early years at 1:30pm. We invite everyone in the Winnipeg area to join us on Saturday.
