Over the past 28 years he has developed a worldwide reputation in Fine Art and Illustration, working with leading corporations and clientele. He was located in London, England since the mid eighties, but returned to Canada, his country of birth, in 2002, reinvigorating his love for the landscape. While living in Winnipeg, he has completed a few notable portrait commissions including former mayor, Glen Murray; sculptor Leo Mol; and former CEO of Investors Group, Sandford Riley CM. Working with a unique new oil medium, Genesis colours, which possess a brilliance beyond conventional oils and acrylics, he has striven to create a heightened sense of reality in his paintings. Based on traditional renaissance techniques, blended with the fluent brushwork and colour of the impressionists, his landscapes are known for their poetic vision, vast skies and refined technique, capturing the grandeur of the Canadian environment. |
